Inverness Artists and Makers Market and Open Studios

Following the success of our Wasps Winter Markets in the Briggait, Glasgow, we are very excited to announce the first Wasps Winter Market in the Highlands, taking place at Inverness Creative Academy.

Join Wasps on Saturday 30 November, 10am – 5pm, in the beautifully restored Midmills Building, formerly Inverness Royal Academy, for this free one day event showcasing work from Wasps studio holders and other makers from across Scotland. This unique market is the perfect way to do your Christmas shopping whilst supporting artists, makers and independent businesses at the same time. With over 25 stalls at the market, all work will be for sale, bought directly from the artists, ranging from fine art to design and crafts.

During the event you can enjoy a look around a number of Open Studios in the building. Open Studios are a rare and brilliant opportunity to see inside our buildings, explore inside the artists’ working space, meet the artists themselves and talk directly about their work. The event will have refreshments available from Bad Girl Bakery and plenty of Christmas cheer on offer!
